Sunday Poem: Glimmer

Holy God on the mountain of Moses,
I close my eyes and see You,
glory on the mountaintop,
shining so bright that I
tremble in leather boots,
think of you in the sun
that trickles in the windows
through thick panes of glass
and the world we always hold
before our eyes.
And, in this moment of praise,
music coursing through my veins,
I want so desperately to be with You
that I would suffer death
to touch the foothills, even, only.
I would give every glimmer of my life
to glow like Moses in the veil
and live forever
in Your grace.

  1. You do shine your own glory of God Heather!!!! I love the poem.

Leave me some lovin'!
